A Plant Nursery and Care Farm in Central Pennsylvania
Resiliency Farm is a plant nursery and care farm that operates on an acre and a half of land about 20 minutes from State College and The Pennsylvania State University. We grow fruit, vegetables, herbs, and flowers that are available for sale. We raise chickens, ducks, and rabbits that you can interact and play with. During the summer season, we offer weekly classes on a number of ecology, horticulture, and farming topics. We compost the farm waste into nutrients to grow more plants and the cycle continues. We listen to music, get lots of exercise, and interact with the outdoors every single day. We believe that nature therapy is powerful, and we do this not only for our own health but also because we want to ensure opportunities like these exist for others to experience through our classes and activities.
